This November, Lisette Perelle will be leading a small group to Buenos Aires for a week of classes, touring, dancing and nightlife. Hone your tango skills while experiencing the best of Buenos Aires in this unique small group format. Maestra Lisette has drawn upon her years of experience and extensive connections in BA to put together an unparalleled experience that combines group lessons and activities with enough free time to explore and truly make this BA experience your own.

Gender balanced classes will be taught by noted dancers / choreographers Daniel Juarez and Alejandra Armenti.

Now directors of their own company and tango academy, Corporacion Tango, Daniel and Alejandra have been respected performers in Buenos Aires and internationally for the last 20 years, competing, choreographing, travelling as featured performers, and judging tango competitions throughout the world.




Itinerary November 18th - 25th

Sat Nov 18th:
1½ hour class followed by ½ hour Practica with Daniel Juarez and Alejandra Armenti

Milonga in the evening

Sunday 19th:
No Class
Tour of San Telmo And Plaza Dorrego [ language about San Dorrego ]
Milonga in the evening

Monday 20th:
1½ hour class with ½ hour Practica
Evening Milonga

Tuesday 21st:
1½ hourclass with ½ hour Practica
Evening out at the theater, featuring the tango show by Corporacion Tango, with Milonga to follow

Wed 22nd:
1½ hour class with ½ hour Practica
Evening Milonga

Thu 23rd: (Thanksgiving)
Day trip to an estacia (ranch) located in the district of Campana, Buenos Aires province, near the town of Los Cardales. This 2965 acre property is mainly dedicated to agricultural activities, and for the last 24 years has also been used as an international resort.

Once there there we will enjoy empenadas and wine, with a guided tour of their museum and chapel. There is also the opportunity for a carriage ride, or to explore further on horseback. A barbequed lunch will be accompanied by a tango and folk dance and music show, followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills including boleodoras, a circle race, herding and the cuadreras race.

The day will finish with a Milonga in the evening.

1½ hour class with ½ hour Practica
Evening Milonga

Optional each day:
  • Taxi dancers for Milongas**
  • Private lessons with respected local tangueros and tangueras**

  • Recommended shopping for the best in shoes and tango wear

The cost for this trip will be $600.00.
